On 20th December 2010, China National Offshore Oil Corp. Ltd. (CNOOC Ltd.) announces that contract with Iraq Missan Oil Company (MOC) enters into force. In earlier time of May, CNOOC claimed that its wholly owned subsidiary CNOOC International Limited had signed a Technical Service Contract (TSC) in Iraq with Turkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortakligi (TPAO).
The contract targets development and production of the Missan oil fields in Iraq, state-owned CNOOC Ltd. said in a statement on its website. The Missan oil fields are located in southeast Iraq, about 350 kilometers southeast of Baghdad.
Every party of contract wishes a long and prosperous cooperation and benefits from operation in Missan oil fileds.
