Project Title: Diesel Generator Purchase for Emergency Power Center
Subject: Technical Clarifications
Dear bidders,
Some technical issue about the request of the bidder proposed, our reply is as follows:
1. 2.5MW, CosØ:0.85 prime group equal to approximately 3.235kVA Standby power. reaching to such a power we have to arrange 4 diesel generator instead of 3 . If acceptable for Cnooc company, we would like to bid 4 diesel generator. Please confirm.
Reply: It is unacceptable to utilize four diesel generators instead of three diesel generators for CNOOC company, The vender shall provide the bid documents that covered different responded scheme regarding the fluctuation base of 2.5MW capacity.
2. There isn’t any technical details except from synchoronized running of generators. To able to arrange offer for generator we need more technical details such as synchoronized system, neuter strength of generator, OG cells etc. Could you please give us more technical details?
Reply: The details referenced to the attachment A of the third section in ITT document, the running of three diesel generators should meet the function requirement of synchoronized running, at the same time the generators implement the load distribution by PMS system. The vender shall provide the technical scheme in terms of the function requirement.
3. To able to price offer for generator , we need Project drawing of column system . Could you please give us project drawing?
Reply: The diesel generator shall be laid on the ground of first floor in the generator room, so it doesn’t need the project drawing for vender. But we could provide the layout drawing of diesel generator room. Please refer to attachments.
4. In technical proposal Cnooc Company would like to USA standards . Will other group standards be acceptable for Company such as Mitsubishi? Please give us information..
Reply: There are clear standards in the attachment A of the third section in ITT document, other group standards are not acceptable by CNOOC company.
5. We able to arrange remote radiator of Continuous Rating Generator which is (electrical motor) Applicable unit of CAT C175-20/2600ekw (3250kva) for Cnooc Company requirement of 2500ekw .But in technical part, Cnooc company require radiator that is be installed on motor. so that, we will be offer CAT C175-16/ 2000ekw (2500 kVA) / 50Hz Continuous Rating .is Remote radiator of Continuous Rating Generator acceptable for Cnooc company or not?
Reply: The vender be able to bid with the two technical scheme (type1: C175-20, type2: C175-16).
6. In technical part, length of enclosure is 13m. But length of place that generator will be installed in is just 12m. So generator with enclosure will not able to install in place. Please give us information revised size of place.
Reply: We will communicate with the designer.
7. For able to offer of Synchronization panel, could you please give us information about single line diagram?
Reply: Refer to the attached single line drawing.
